When you are facing the loss of a loved one, your whole world can seem to crumble around you. You may feel consumed with feelings of grief, anger, sadness, joy, and overwhelming loneliness all at the same time. You may also face unexpected tiredness from the change in your daily schedule. Can you imagine facing this alone?
Luckily, the Bible promises us that we are never alone in any situation, including the loss of a loved one. Our Father in Heaven has enough comfort to bring peace to our minds and hearts at a time like this. Just like God commands us to do, Greene Ridge FWB Church would like to send comfort to families that are facing a loss. With God’s help, we can work together to offer prayer, calls of support, and visitation to those who are experiencing such an emotional time.
As your pastor, I appreciate you helping each other in these ways. In addition to these things, I would also like for you to consider cooking or supplying items in order to provide a meal for the families that experience a loss in their family. This meal not only provides rest to the families in need, but also ministers to the lost in the families that so desperately need to see the love of Jesus through us.
