Greene Ridge Free Will Baptist Church
Located in the Horse Creek Community in Greene County, Tennessee, Greene Ridge was founded on January 4th, 1900. It was known only as "the Free Will Baptist Church".
Several years later, the church stopped having weekly worship services and began being used only for special services and community revivals.
Then, in 1968, the Reverand Jesse Laws reopened the church for weekly worship and it has continued ever since.
Many changes have taken place through the years. Classrooms have been added, a fellowship hall has been built, but the original santuary is still in use to this day.
The people in the pews have seen many changes in the past one-hundred and eight years, but the little 'Free Will Baptist Church' that sits on the hill in Horse Creek still has a big heart for God, His word, and each other.
